Support

No self-help

What is it?

Ideally, your product should answer all your users' questions right when they feel the need to ask them, so they can complete tasks or workflows without any hesitation. More realistically, however, users often need help understanding information, making decisions, or taking actions. When users can't unblock themselves, they may feel frustration and a lack of control. Lack of self-help options can undermine users' sense of competence. When users are unable to solve problems on their own, it can lead to decreased confidence and satisfaction with the product. Ultimately, they may lose motivation or confidence and, in some cases, even give up.
